Dr. Stuart grew up in Charlotte, NC and graduated from East Mecklenburg High School. He earned both his undergraduate degree in Chemistry and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Stuart regularly participates in continuing education and is a member of the American Dental Association and of the Charlotte Dental Society.

Following a two-year associateship, Dr. Stuart opened his practice of General Dentistry in our South Charlotte location in 1996. He and his wife Britt have two children, Michael and Kate. Dr. Stuart is a passionate Tar Heels sports fan and looks forward to spirited debate with Duke fans regarding which shade of blue is the best.
